At its heart Breezeway House is a home about flow - between the inside and outside, between spaces, between the demands of family life and the desire for beauty.
Located by the ocean in Shellharbour, Breezeway House is a modern family residence shaped by mid-century influence, Palm Springs warmth and the quiet rhythm of life by the ocean. Designed as a forever home, every space has been considered for connection — between family, landscape, entertaining and everyday rituals.
The interior design brief for this new build included a mid-century aestheic to compliement the architecural elements, a kitchen that provided a place to gather and entertain, a neutral colour palette highlighted with accents of green tones and warm timbers. An 70s inspired sofa and a Jai Vasicek were the starting point for thier inspiration. Japanese ceramics are embraced within the wet areas - the ensuite, laundry and powder room all feature beatuiful glazed tiles, while the kitchen embraces the handcrafted elements of teak joinery and Moroccan tiles.
Defined by a confidence in material selections and a fine-furniture inspired aesthetic the home is cohesive, considered and completely alive - a space where great deisgn and real family living exist in perfect, joyful balance.
